Assistant Manager Trainee - As a growing retail store operation with store locations in central and northeast Iowa, we are excited to have the opportunity to add to our management staff. We're offering Assistant Manager opportunities for people who enjoy helping others, who find satisfaction in going out of their way to be of service, people who are willing to work hard and who have a sincere desire to succeed. Our product lines include agricultural, electrical, hardware, sporting goods, clothing, automotive products, plumbing, home improvement, etc. Position includes approx. 12 week paid training program preparing individual for duties and responsibilities needed to assist store manager in daily operations of running store. Relocation is a strong possibility depending on individual store needs. Applicants should possess a business-related degree or a minimum of one year related experience.

LOGISTIC COORDINATOR
Full time Exempt, 45 hours per week
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Company’s freight processes are operating at maximum potential and analyzes and reacts to methods available to reduce the companies freight cost as a percentage of sales. Will coordinate and dispatch freight loads for incoming and outgoing freight and will also be responsible for supervising and evaluating company drivers. The Logistics Coordinator exercises independent judgment and discretion relating to negotiation of freight process, price negotiation, and analysis of market trends.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3+ years logistics experience, TL and LTL
License and/or certificate: CDL preferred
REQUIREMENTS:
- Well informed of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations including Hazardous Materials
- Supervisory skills
- Analytical skills
- Working knowledge of trucks, trailers, and tires
- Knowledge of tariffs preferred
- Substantial experience with all forms of shipping paperwork
- Should possess strong knowledge of geography

SOFTWARE APPLICATION MANAGER
Full Time Exempt position, 45 hours per week minimum
The Software Application Manager will be responsible for all aspects of technology strategy, technology implementation and how it gets used, keeping it secure and its maintenance. This manager will also provide future vision to Executive team on where technology is going in the next three to five years and assure that IT strategy is closely aligned with overall company goals. This manager will possess extensive knowledge in implementing re-useable single and multi-threaded, scalable, high-performance enterprise scale/large web-backend environments and database development with experience in software development including demonstrable experience delivering mission-critical Web or Java applications in a multi-tiered environment and direct experience developing and promoting a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Will also possess ability to deliver projects on time and within budget using strong analytical, troubleshooting and effective interpersonal skills.
B. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BS in computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience: 10 years of overall knowledge of network architecture, software programming, software and operating system platforms and core software usage.
License and/or Certificate: PMI Certification a plus
C. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with IBM iSeries Operating systems
• Experience developing database applications with Microsoft IIS/ASP, Visual Basic, and C
• Microsoft Windows and Server products, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, ASP, Visual Basic (MS-InterDev).
• Knowledge of e-commerce architectures, protocols and products (SML, Site Server, MQ Series, etc.)
• Exposure to many aspects/areas of IT including development, operations and business process with direct experience in both infrastructure and application development.
• Experience with the following: Data management experience (data acquisition), Business Objects or similar, Crystal Reports, Microsoft's development, operating systems, security and collaboration platforms, i.e. SharePoint, MSSQL, etc.

WEB DEVELOPER
Full time, Exempt, 45 hours per week
The Web Developer will provide appropriate programming and database development support as well as website administration services for hosted websites including domain registrations and security. The position also participates in technical and architectural-solution design and decision-making and recommends technical web-based solutions for business problems or opportunities. This individual will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of various internal and external web applications. In addition, they will be translating minimal systems specifications into executable and functional coding for subsequent implementation. Other responsibilities would be design and installation of database structures and tables, and the development and maintenance of program documentation and operational instructions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Web Development experience
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be proficient with multiple web programming languages (VB.NET, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, XML, SQL) and have experience with MS SQL databases (MySQL preferred; NoSQL a plus). Must be experienced with website design and usability, testing and debugging software. General server knowledge is desirable.
- Actively work with business users to maintain and update tools, programs, and code to maximize website efficiency and enhance functionality.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and payment processing systems desired

E-COMMERCE STORE MANAGER
FULL-TIME, EXEMPT
The E-Commerce Store Manager will oversee all aspects of managing the e-commerce platform including inventory control, content development, strategic e-commerce marketing, customer experience, online customer support, market analysis and execution of initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with and coordinate efforts multiple departments to ensure that the website runs smoothly, orders are processed timely and accurately, the customer experience is optimal and vendor relationships are managed and maintained. In addition to managing the voice for the online presence, and writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. The E-Commerce Store Manager will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns and will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, Marketing or a related discipline preferred
Experience: Experience managing e-commerce, including online advertising, display and shopping engines, or prior experience managing retail store operations with vast knowledge of technical aspects of e-commerce
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Should possess strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge.
· Experience with ticketing, merchandise and Point of Sale systems.

Advertising Assistant
There following Clerical position is available in the Advertising department at the corporate office.
Responsibilities include vendor funds processing and cooperative advertising claim processing, newspaper insertion orders and follow-up, store promotion input sheets, sales sheets, flyer results reports, correspondence, communication and follow up with vendors and buyers, computer input, assisting the marketing department in various other duties, including but not limited to sign proofing, production and photocopying, laminating, proofing, distribution of materials to stores, and filing. Computer experience required. MacIntosh computer experience, as well as Excel, Filemaker Pro (or other database software) a strong plus.
Part-time 24 hours per week (additional hours up to 30 as needed).
Hours:
8 am – 4:30 pm
M – W – TH (preferred but flexible)
