1. What kind of discount does Theisen's offer 4-H and FFA members?
We're proud to support the hard work our local 4-H and FFA kids put in! Active participants get 10% off qualifying, regular-priced items used to care for, feed, train, or show their registered 4-H or FFA project.

2. Do I need to bring my student with me to get the discount?
Yes — and we love that! Having the participant there lets them show off their project and talk about what they're working on. It's part of what makes 4-H and FFA so special: real responsibility and hands-on learning. Just have them ready to share their project type and a few details (club, leader, or event).

3. Can I use the discount on sale or clearance items?
The discount applies to regular-priced merchandise. We know sale items are already a great deal, so this discount is there to help stretch your budget further on everyday project essentials.

4. What products qualify for the discount?
Pretty much everything your project needs to thrive: livestock feed & supplements, bedding & feeding supplies (buckets, tubs, feeders, waterers), grooming and health supplies, show & training gear like halters and tack, and supplies for poultry, rabbits, and other small animal projects.

5. Are there any items that don't qualify?
A few — things like fencing/kennels, non-project lawn & garden items, everyday clothing, bulk quantities, and power tools generally fall outside the discount. That said, if your project has a unique need, just ask your store manager — we're happy to take a look.

6. Can I get the discount on power tools for my project?
Not usually, but we know every project is different. Talk to your store manager — if it's tied to a specific, documented 4-H/FFA project, they may be able to make it work for you.

7. Is there a limit on how much I can buy?
We just ask that quantities reflect normal project needs — generally 2–10 bags of feed and a bit of bedding per visit. If your project calls for more, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

8. Can I use this discount for online orders?
Right now, this is an in-store discount so our team can connect with your student and celebrate their project in person. We hope you'll stop by and see us!

9. Can I use the discount for my farm business?
This discount is our way of investing in the next generation of agriculture, so it's reserved for personal 4-H/FFA projects rather than business or resale purchases.

10. What if I'm not sure whether something qualifies?
No worries at all — just ask! Our team is happy to check with a manager to make sure your student gets every discount they've earned.
