Last updated February 17, 2026

When you use or interact with our website at https://www.theisens.com, we may use a variety of technologies that collect information automatically, including cookies. Those technologies may collect and identify, among other things, your IP address, domain name, location, device type, date and time of visit, operating system, and browser type, as well as your activities on the Site. We also use these technologies to monitor the performance of the Site, troubleshoot the Site, and optimize your experience. If you are interacting with the Services on a mobile device, additional information may be collected, including your mobile device’s unique device ID, its GPS signal, and information about how you use the Services. The information may also be collected by, received by, or shared with our service providers or third parties who assist us with these activities.

• A cookie is a small data file that is placed on users’ devices to monitor how users interact with Web sites and other online services when you interact with Web sites. Cookies are sent to your browser when you access the Services. The website stores the cookie on a visitor's computer, and the visitor's browser provides it to the website each time the visitor returns. Theisen's uses cookies to determine when a visitor's cart has been abandoned and to keep track of the items placed in the cart, as well as to perform other crucial ecommerce capabilities.  There are different types of cookies, and they can be distinguished on the basis of their origin, function and lifespan. We, our service providers, and the third parties described below may use session cookies. A session cookie is available only during the browser session; the information is not sent to or stored on a computer’s hard drive. Closing the browser or logging off will invalidate the session cookie. We and our service providers and other third parties may also use machine cookies, which do remain on a computer hard drive and gather information, sometimes overtime and across sites.

• Web Beacons. “Web beacons”,  “tracking pixels”, (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs), are small electronic files (in the form of an electronic image, tag, or script that place a graphic on a web page or in an e-mail message that tracks pages viewed or e-mail messages opened.  They allow access to cookies, and, among other things, help track general usage patterns of visitors to online services. Web beacons can recognize certain types of information, such as cookies, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page where the web beacon is placed. They may also be used to track interactions with emails and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity). We, our service providers, and the third parties described below may use web beacons to compile information regarding your use of the Services.

• Location Information: We may collect information about your location (via GPS or other technologies), including when you enable location-based features in the Services, such as allowing us to show you the nearest Theisen’s store.

• Logs are continuous digital records of events and interactions that occur on a Web site.

We, and our service provides, may use cookies, pixel tags, and/or logs because they:

• Are necessary to enable us to distinguish between users;
• Are essential for us to provide our Site to you;
• Help us optimize, personalize and/or otherwise improve your experience and/or the performance of the Site and our service and marketing-related communications with you (subject to compliance with the requirements of applicable law);
• Help us to improve our Site to make it more useful and appealing to you;
• To better understand our users; and
• Enable advertising delivered to you to be more relevant.

Third-Party data collection and advertising

Like the internet itself, online marketing is a networked enterprise. Thus, we want to make it clear that we do use third parties for marketing, analytics, social media, and data analysis. These third parties may use cookies, or other methods or technologies like scripts, pixels, or action tags, to collect information about you when you interact with the Services. We may also provide these third parties with information about you to assist us in our marketing efforts. We use the information we collect and receive for a variety of purposes, including to learn which online advertisements attracted you; to improve our content, products, and services; to inform groups of users about relevant products and services; to identify new customers; and to help us analyze and improve the Services and the effectiveness of our marketing. The use of your information may be governed by privacy policies maintained by those third parties.

Social Media Platforms. We use third parties to gather and analyze data from social media platforms, including, for example, Facebook®, Instagram®, YouTube®, and Twitter®. We use these third parties to help us understand your interaction between social media and our Services, and to advertise to current and future customers based on interests and demographics.

Online Behavioral (Targeted) Advertising. Online behavioral advertising is used to deliver advertisements that are catered to your interests (or “targeted” to you) based on your browsing history. We may engage third parties to display ads on our behalf on the Internet, including, for example, Google, and those third parties may use information about you to provide you with our ads. They may also track and report on the performance of our advertising and marketing campaigns and provide that information to us. Online behavioral advertising can use a variety of tracking technologies, including cookies, pixels, and scripts, and track you across websites. Certain state privacy laws allow residents of those states to opt out of this type of advertising. Customers in those states may fill out our webform to opt out.

How can I control cookies?

Most web browsers allow you to erase cookies on your computer, block cookies from your computer, or notify you when a cookie is stored on your computer. If you choose to disable or otherwise block certain cookies, you may be unable to use or experience decreased functionality with parts of the Site. Your browser may also support functions to block or restrict pixel tags.

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your cookie rights by setting your preferences in the Cookie Consent Manager which allows you to select which categories of cookies you accept or reject. Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide you with services.

The Cookie Consent Manger can be found in the notification banner on our website when you first visit the website. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted. You may also set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.

There are steps you can take to manage your privacy, which we outline below. Keep in mind that an opt-out is typically valid only for the device that you use to opt-out; so, if you use multiple devices, you may need to opt-out on each device. Also, some opt-outs require that you accept a cookie or install a plug-in to record and honor your request; if you delete the cookie, you may need to opt-out again. In addition to the methods below, you may be able to use the incognito or private function in your browser or other software and plug-ins to help manage your privacy preferences; make sure to review the privacy policy of any provider of such software or plug-in before installing it.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or other tracking technology files, or to alert you when these files are being sent. Your browser may also allow you to remove or delete cookies on your device. Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that can send a signal to the online services you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, our Services may not respond to all browser DNT signals. Instead, you can use the range of other tools to control data collection and use, including the cookie controls and advertising controls described in this policy.
