15 A Fusetron Heavy Duty Cartridge Current Limiting Low Voltage Time Delay Fuse
Bussmann Series Fusetron cartridge fuses are 23% more energy efficient and offer the best time delay performance. Their dual element feature allows closer sizing to load for superior protection of motors and transformers. These Class RK5 fuses with a 200 kA interrupting rating can be used in a broad range of applications. When sized correctly, they help protect motors from burnout caused by overloads or single phasing. The time delay feature allows the initial startup current surge for typical motors to pass, but opens prior to motor burnout when longer, dangerous overloads are present.
Body Material: Fiberglass
Current Rating: 15 A
Diameter: 9/16 in
Element Type: Dual
Fuse Group: H
Fuse Type: Time Delay
Indicator Type: Non-Indicating
Interrupt Rating: 20 200 kA
Length: 2 in
Rejection/Non-Rejection: Rejection
Voltage Rating: 250 VAC 125 VDC
Features
- Provides motor overload, ground fault and short circuit protection
- Helps protect motors against burnout from overloads
- Helps protect motors against burnout from single-phasing on three-phase systems
- Helps protect motors against burnout from single-phasing on three-phase systems
- Simplifies and improves blackout prevention
- Dual-element fuses can be applied in circuits subject to temporary motor overloads and surge currents to provide both high performance short-circuit and overload protection
- The overload element provides protection against low level overcurrent of overloads and will hold an overload which is five times greater than the ampere rating of the fuse for a minimum of 10 secs
