Salsa Mix Medium

This seasoning mix from Mrs. Wages is formulated to turn fresh or canned tomatoes into medium-heat homemade salsa. The blend includes dehydrated vegetables such as onion, green bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, chili pepper, and garlic, along with salt and spices, and contains no artificial color. Each pouch holds 4 ounces (113.4g) and yields approximately 5 pints of finished salsa when combined with tomatoes. The mix is Kosher certified and packaged in a convenient pouch for pantry storage. After preparing, salsa made with this mix is ready to eat about 30 minutes after refrigeration, or within 12 to 24 hours if jars are left undisturbed at room temperature. It is suited to serving fresh, freezing for later use, or home canning, making it a versatile option for preserving a batch of salsa from garden or store-bought tomatoes.
