We strive to meet the needs of our customers by carrying trusted brands of merchandise at great prices with exceptional service. The well-being of the Greater Dyersville community is important to us. We support many organizations through our charitable giving and the Theisen’s More for Your Community grant program.
Theisen’s of Dyersville was built in 1967 and was the seventh Theisen’s store opened. In 2017, our Dyersville store celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a new 51,000 square foot building near the original store site.
Dyersville is perhaps best known as the setting for the 1989 movie "Field of Dreams," which was filmed on location at the Dyersville farm of local resident Don Lansing. The movie's popularity has made Dyersville a popular tourist destination, and visitors can still visit the famous baseball diamond and farmhouse featured in the film.
In addition to its connection to "Field of Dreams," Dyersville is also known for its vibrant downtown area, which features a variety of restaurants and historic buildings. The city is home to several parks and recreational areas, including the Dyersville Golf and Country Club and the Dyersville Aquatic Center.
One of the notable attractions in Dyersville is the National Farm Toy Museum, which features an extensive collection of toy tractors, farm equipment, and other agricultural artifacts. The city is also home to several events and festivals throughout the year, including the Dyersville Downtown Friday Nights and the Dyersville Summer Farm Toy Show.
