Theisen’s of Sparta was opened in 2015 and was the first Theisen’s store to open in Wisconsin.

One of the notable attractions in Sparta is the Deke Slayton Memorial Space & Bicycle Museum, which celebrates the life and achievements of astronaut Deke Slayton, who was born in Sparta.
